Touring September 2018 - May 2019

Starving Artists Productions just completed a two year tour of the play Let Me Look At You; both hilarious and deeply moving, Let Me Look At You is a celebration of LGBTQ+ history, blending solo theatre with stand-up to glorious effect. A link to the entire show is located below.

Recorded live in front of an audience in Manchester at THE EDGE THEATRE, October 2018. The show starred Mark Pinkosh and was written by Godfrey Hamilton, directed by David Prescott, produced by David Dolan-Martin. The dramaturg was Ruth Mitchell, lighting design by Douglas Kuhrt. Performance video was filmed and edited by Andonis Anthony. This show was a part of a thirteen city tour of the UK and was also presented for a week in Dublin, Ireland.

Watch the Trailer for LET ME LOOK AT YOU here

In Let Me Look At You, a gay man walks through Soho, thinking over the losses and triumphs of the past 50 years of gay experience. There, right across the street he spots a young motorcyclist parking his bike… and is impelled to cross the road and introduce himself. Written on the fiftieth anniversary of the U.K.’s Sexual Offenses Act, which partly decriminalized sex between men, Starving Artists offers up the oft-ignored warning: things haven't changed all that much.

"... an intimate and engaging performer who has that knack of appearing to chat directly to you.”

-Paul Vale, The Stage

“…they succeed magnificently, in a considered, beautifully nuanced performance by Mark Pinkosh of a wonderfully witty text by Godfrey Hamilton.”

-David Kettle, The List
